Put an ordinary tablet on a shop floor and it stops being a work tool — a tab here, a game there, and the next person needing a drawing finds it on a video app with a dead battery. Ours can't do that. It runs FabCommand and nothing else: same account, same data, on a screen that can't wander off.

Device-owner mode has to be applied before a tablet is ever signed in to. That's exactly why we do it here and send it to you ready — once it's on, the app can't be closed, uninstalled or bypassed from the device.
When you do need to change something, a hidden gesture opens the admin screen: tap the top-left corner seven times quickly, then enter your PIN.

What It Doesn't Do
- It isn't a login system. No PINs for crew, no time clock, no extra seats.
- It's FabCommand only. Not a general-purpose browser for the shop.
- No remote management or auto-update. Changes happen on the tablet, behind the admin PIN.
- Keep the PIN somewhere safe. Forget it and the tablet has to be re-provisioned.
Kiosk Questions
It depends on the model and how many you need. The kiosk itself adds no seat or subscription to your FabCommand plan — the tablet is a hardware purchase. Get in touch and we'll put current pricing together for you.
No. Full lockdown has to be applied before a tablet is ever signed in to, so it has to happen before the tablet reaches you — which is why we supply the hardware. We no longer support installing the kiosk app on Fire tablets.

The gesture is invisible on purpose — there's no button for a curious user to find, and no way through it without the PIN.
The page doesn't move and a banner names the blocked site. If it's somewhere you genuinely need — a supplier portal, a mill cert host — send us the address and we'll add it to the allowlist.
